Well like since any other creative art such as music like Deep House, Amapiano and AfroTech House went online, so hence steady thump of the past doesn’t match the complex, winding roads we walk today in life. That is why the air has changed in South African space with the likes of Amapiano & Afrotech sounds breaking records as chart toppers. This began prior year of 2026 like where we witnessed the rise of 3-Step Afrotech, and usually it is the rhythm you least expect or didn’t know you were waiting for.

This has become the most uncertain year with South African music market in 2026 dominated the street with new sounds and talent to express their art but also continue to walk this life to explore sounds that resonates with people, So “Izindlela Zobomi” (Roads of Life) is one of the project, AndyDeep & SemiLoopz brought Dj Phoenix again in the team to solidify their vision to shares their sonic recipe of sound to express possible path that have shaped the taste of music they enjoy cooking/writting through such syncopated “gallop.” Let me tell you more about the EP which is such a body of work that they put together to a space that forces you to lean in and learn about their story.

This isn’t just a new genre by any means but first of all just a new sound in the block, So right in the mist of Amapiano got back on charts after Afrotech introduced it’s sound both breaking records this instead is a electronic soulful mechanism and the right sweet spot for the Afro-Tech and Deep House scene needs. Like with 3 step, this mirrors the experience of “missing steps” in our own road of life—The EP resembles & express the moments where things didn’t go as planned, we just kept moving anyway.
